Water pumps
Common water pumps include piston type, centrifugal type and axial flow type. Piston water pumps use atmospheric pressure, such as common water presses. The centrifugal pump uses the rotation of the impeller to drive the water to obtain centrifugal force, and the water is lifted to a high place. However, the height of the suction port of the centrifugal pump is still restricted by atmospheric pressure. The principle of an axial flow water pump is similar to that of an electric fan. The rotating blades push water toward the rear of the pump axis. The axial flow water pump has a large flow rate, but the lifting height (head) is not large.
When the water pump is not in use, it should be lifted away from the water source in time and the accumulated water in the pump should be drained, especially in cold winter. Then place it in a dry place. Users who have the conditions can also apply butter on key parts of the water pump and add lubricating oil to the bearings to prevent parts from rusting. In addition, the non-use period of the water pump is not as long as possible. If it is not used for a long time, it will not only easily corrode the parts, but also reduce the service life.
